Dr Gustafson combines science and art to achieve healing. The term Integrative Medicine is applied to this approach as it integrates all aspects of the body, mind and soul's innate ability to heal with current available therapies. History taking involves an evaluation of the exercise patterns, nutritional patterns, spiritual practices and belief patterns. These are analyzed in depth for potential blocks to optimal health. Together with the Physical Exam and Medical History a complete knowledge is gained of the patient who has the disease verses the disease the patient has. Plans for healing and optimal health are made on a completely individual basis.
